Detailed
Description
An anonymous prayer for the success of a king in battle. The prayer for the welfare of the ruling powers of the State (king, government, etc.) and petitions for the welfare of the congregation, belong to the morning service and are recited before the Scrolls of the Law are returned to the Ark. In this case the writer may of been unsure of the royal's name or travelled between different ruler's empires and therefore used a general term "malka" meaning king or ruler.
