Description		    This is the second edition of a work on the Pentateuch which parasha by parasha goes through the Torah and tells the story contained in each week's assigned reading. Included also are the readings for the various Holidays and other special readings during the course of the year. The text is in German with occasional use of Hebrew words and phrases. Included also are tables for the years 1857 through1926.

J.H. Kohn is the author of numerous other books, many with the title beginning Bibelschatz (Bible treasure) on different books of the Bible, and another entitled Talmudschatz on treasures from the Talmud.
