Description		    Lithograph, single sheet, 337:417 mm., creased on folds, light age staining, pinsize holes throughout. Unrecorded in Wajnberg.
          
Detailed
Description		    Map of Erez Israel and its division among the Tribes based on the design of R. Elijah of Vilna (gaon of Vilna). The original, published by the Gaon's was lost, however, the copy displayed here "was copied from the original... by Dov Ber b. Joseph Yuzpa..." It was intended to serve chiefly as an instrument of religious instruction. Jerusalem is depicted in the center with several towers, presumable to represent the Temple. The map was printed to be inserted with Kitvei Kodesk (Vilna 1838), however, no copy with the map is known.
