Description		    Addressed to the Rosh Hayeshiva of Hebron, R Pines seeks a receipt for a previous donation so that the donors may see the final destination of their funds. The rabbi states that he is withholding a secondary sum until same is received. R. Solomon Zalman b. Dov Pines (1884-1954), was born in Minsk. He was appointed the rabbi of Sislowitz (Svisloch, today in Belarus). He moved to Zurich in the late 20's. An erudite scholar R. Pines authored many works, 8-10 are in print.
