A report issued by the Bejs Lechem (an organization which provides food for those in dire need) for the year 1929. It includes a detailed list of expenditures as well as a list of contributors, including the amount contributed. The report has both Yiddish and Polish title pages, and includes information in both languages. Some of that information is duplicated, such as the list of those on the presidium, and the list of the committee members.
Note that the term Bejs Lechem means House of Bread, and the list of expenditures includes bread, matzo, meat, sugar, tea, onions, etc. |
