| Paragraph 1 |
|
In the immediate post World War II period, when those that survived the Holocaust were still crying for family members that perished, a group arose that was trying to establish institutions for Torah--to strengthen Torah and faith. The group of Rabbis that arose on the the third day of Parashat Vayetze decided ..to take all steps possible within the framework of local laws to stand for "our souls" and "to strengthen our hands" for the maintenance of Tiorah and faith. |
