Description		    Only edition. 88 pp., 233:148 mm., wide margins, light age staining, stamps. A very good copy bound in modern boards. Included is a signed letter from the author dated 24 April 1910. There is a dedication on the title page to R. Low.
          
Detailed
Description		    This work was the Moritz Winter's (b.1886) dissertation for his doctorate at the University at Heidelberg. It deals with life and customs of the Jews in Palestine at the time of the Mishna, and specifically with cooking and food preparation. In addition, there is an index of Hebrew words used in the Mishna. There are extensive notes throughout with references in Hebrew, Arabic and Greek.
