Detailed Description |
|
R. Sulieman Menahem Mani (1850–1924), R. Elijah's eldest son, was born in Baghdad and emigrated to Erez Israel with his parents in 1855. He was appointed rosh av bet din in Hebron when his father died. After the death of R. Hayyim Hezekiah Medini, he was elected chief rabbi of Hebron. |
