Description
Thirteen discourses with an introduction by R. Joshua Zev ben Israel Isaac Zissenvain who is called Avner to the family of his mother Hannah Sarah born Sobelik. The title page has a vignette of Zion, burial place of the kings of the house of David. Tsor Ne’eman has fifteen approbations, among them one from R. Jacob Joseph of New York and from R. Hayyim Sonnenfeld. There is an introduction from the author, and then a lengthy introduction entitled mevo le-Sha’ar Zion in both Hebrew and Yiddish, the former at the top of the page in rabbinic type, the latter below in square letters. Among the other discourses, entirely in Hebrew in two columns in rabbinic type are Ma’amar Sha’ari Zion, Zikkor al Tishkah, Sha’arei Tefillah, Beit ha-Kenesset and beit ha-Mikdash, Yitziat Mizraim, and Sha’arei Geulah. There is a hadran and at the end a list of the names of the individuals who supported publication, arranged by city, the majority in the United States.
