Description		    Yiddish version of the Guidebook for citizenship. This standard work, adapted for new Jewish immigrants, is attractively printed by the Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution. The title page has the seal of the DAR and following it a statement by President Harry S. Truman. The text is accompanied by several photographs, maps, and tables. Among the photos are one of the White House, the Capitol, the American flag, and the Seal of the United States. There is a map of the United States giving state capitals, and major cities. The text includes the Constitution and other items an immigrant is required to know for becoming a citizen.
