Description		    Letter of congratulation to Paul Eisner in Breslau upon the Bar Mizvah of his son Ludwig by R. Joshua [b. Aviezer?] Krohn, rabbi of Borszczow, Galicia. R. Krohn suffered much during his life. He escaped from the Czar's pogroms to Poland, a false accusation cost his 18 months in a Polish jail, his first wife passed on at an early age leaving him with several orphans, during a visit to his only son, R. Isaac (Izik), in Lvov his house was destroyed by fire, and many more similar events that left him sick and penniless. Several of his letters have survived, all of which are "thank you for your donation" type letters.
