Description		    Only edition of these lyrics related to Erez Israel collected by Jacob Shenburg (Shonberg). The full title is Shirei Erets Yisrael: mi-Ma‘am Histadrut ha-Makabi be-Germanyah ve-Histadrut he-haluts be-Germanyah, that is, these songs are those of the Zionist Maccabbi movement in Germany. Shirei Erez Yisrael, which reads from left to right begins with an introduction from the author, followed by the voluminous number of songs in the book. The lyrics are in vocalized Hebrew, with musical notes accompanied by the Hebrew transliterated into German, and a concise Hebrew-German dictionary accompanying each song. After the songs are niggunim with musical notations and tempo, and at the end an alphabetical index of the songs.
