Description |

Forty-two lenghty discourses in Talmud and Torah by R. Pinchas Leib b. Moses Frieden (1802-1873). He was born in Bonyhad where his father served as rabbi and studied in noted Yeshivot. R. Pinchas Leib assumed the rabbinical position in Bonyhad after his father's passing and served from 1826 -1831, then assumed the position in Komarom until his passing. In the introduction the author gives praise to Kaiser Franz Joseph, and expresses hope to print his work of responsa Pnei Gur Arye, apparently never printed. |
