Description
Haggadah with variances among them: longer kiddush with the addition of Trumah by R. Sa'adia Ga'on, many of the customs follow Ashkenazi rites rather than Sephardi, full blessing for the first hand washing, first dipping is in haroset not saltwater or vinegar, etc. For hundreds of years the Yemenite Jewish communities followed their traditional ways of secular and religious life, not being influenced by external trends and currents.
