Detailed
Description		    Only edition of these responsa by R. Isaac Eizek ben Joel Kohen-Zedek (Katz, 1752-82). The title page states that these are the halakhic responses given with a clear mind by the rav, the kabbalist, Sinai and uprooter of mountains (okar harrim), referring to both his breadth and depth of knowledge. It informs that R. Isaac Eizek was av bet din in Koretz and rosh mesivta in Ostrog and continues listing several generations of his ancestors. In smaller print it states that this precious work was in manuscript and the grandson of the author’s brother, R. Judah Leibush ben Bezalel Kohen Zedek brought it to press. On the verso of the title page is an approbation from R. Mordecai Zev Segal Ettinga, followed by the introduction of R. Judah Leibush, in which he gives biographical information about his uncle. The text of Zikhron Kehunah is set in two columns in rabbinic letters. At the end is a responsum from R. Isaac ben Zevi Hirsch of Brod concerning the usage of names in a get and a related responsum from R. Meshullam Katz, brother of the author. R. Isaac Eizek was also the author of Berit Kehunat Olam.

דף [3-2]: הקדמת ר' יהודא לייבוש כהן צדק הכוללת גם "תולדות דודנו" המחבר, מאת ר' יוסף כהן צדק מלבוב. ר' יוסף המציא לו גם "העתקת המגלת היוחסין ממשפחתינו... המכונה מטה אהרן" עם "הוספותיו", שלא נדפסו. דף עג[-עז]: שו"ת, מאת ר' יצחק ב"ר צבי הירש [ חיות ] "מבראד חפק"ק סטריא", ומה שכתבו לו ר' יוסף ב"ר מאיר תאומים ור' שלמה "[ב"ר משה מחלמא] בעה"מ ס' מרכבת המשנה", בעניין גט ושמות המגרש, וכן תשובה באותו עניין, מאת ר' משולם כ"ץ, אח המחבר. הסכמה: ר' מרדכי זאב סג"ל איטינגא, א דראש-חודש אייר תרכ"ב.
