Description		    Halakhic novellae by R. Zev Wolf ben Samuel ha-Levi Olesker of Brody (Razah, c. 1710-1780). The title page describes the work as wodrous novellae, pilpul and deep reasoning, refined, shi’urim on the Torah, laws of Hadash, the sale of hametz, and novellae on all four parts of the Shulhan Arukh. The author is described as being from Brod but it is known that he later went up to Jerusalem in 1772, where he died. Hiddushei u-Khelalot ha-Razah was brought to press by R. David Kassover ben Moises Zevi. There are a number of approbations, a prologue from R. David Kassover, who notes that little was printed in the lifetime of the author and that what was printed was lacking, and a description of Kassover genealogy. The text is comprised of the halakhah in the center in square letters and Hiddushei Razah in the margins in rabbinic type. The topics discussed are varied, detailed, complex, and scholarly. Attached to Hiddushei u-Khelalot ha-Razah, with its own title page and foliation is Hiddushei ha-Razah on tefillin, Pesah, shehitah, melihah, taruvos, and other topics.
