Description		    R. Akiva Glasner (1885-1956) suceeded his father R. Moses Samuel Glasner (1856–1924), as rabbi of Klausenburg (Cluj). The Glasners were direct descendants of R. Moses Sofer and dominated the Hungarian rabbinate during the early 20th century. He published several halakhic works (Dor Dorim). He passed on in Zürich and was interred in Jerusalem.
