Detailed
Description
Verse on the dedication of a בבית ראי in the city of Pest and in honor of the nobles and princes. Written in a clear and fine hand, the text is made up of eighteen rhymed stanzas, each of six lines, all in vocalized Hebrew. The language is laudatory and praiseworthy. In Shir Hillulim Hungary is mentioned several times, each time in enlarged letters, the first mention being of the Hungarian land, describing it as the most beautiful kingdom, continuing with praise of its inhabitants and in the next stanza of its nobles. The Hapsburg monarchy is also mentioned in the final stanza. The author, R. Aaron Klacher, was a Hebrew teacher in the Beit Hanokh Normali.
