Description		    Unusual oversized Hebrew root book in German by M. J. Benlevi. The full title is Hebräischer Wurzelzeiger, oder, Tabellarisches hebräisch-deutsches Wörterbuch zunächst für Schulen und zum Selbstgebrauche (Hebrew root guide, or, tabular Hebrew-German dictionary intended for schools and for self use). There is a forward in German, in two columns in Fraktur giving a thorough introduction to the subject followed by a page of instructions and then the text of Hebraischer Wurzeleiger. The book is comprised of full page charts, organized alphabetically, each set of facing pages with a total of 20 x 23 or 460 boxes, not all filled in, explaining the roots of the Hebrew language. Certainly a unique and unusual lexicographic approach to explaining a language.
