Description		    Polemic against Reform innovations in the form of nine responsa, one for each topic of Reform Judaism: the organ; deletion of the silent prayer; textual changes; the holy tongue (Hebrew); Sephard vs. Ashkenaz; prayer in non-Hebrew languages; reading the torah with cantillation and points; covering the head; co-ed prayer; and finally belief in the Messiah and redemption. The Author served in the rabbinate of Meseritz (Miedzyrzecz), Poznan, and finally Emden where he passed on in 1839.
