This pamphlet is an offprint from the Judischen Jahrbuch fur die Schwiez 5677 1916/17. It contains an article which deals with the idea of a central association to handle all matters of Jewish interest in Switzerland. Particularly, the topic of Torah (studying Jewish texts), Avoda (prayer services) and Gemilut Hasadim (good deeds, i.e. service to those in need). The text is in German with occasional Hebrew phrases. The last page and a half contain a listing of six organizations with a listing of their officials. |
