Description		    Yiddish monograph for instructing both teachers and students in the fundamentals of Hebrew and learning by R. Joshua Hillel Goldner. The title, Lelmod ve-Lelamaid (to learn and to teach, Sotah 37a). The title page, in two columns, Yiddish and Hebrew, describes it as necessary subject matter for both teachers and students related to the correct reading according to the massorah; the rules for learning Humash and Rashi and writing the holy language. Also, the rules required so that alef and ayin are not interchanged, and similarly bet and vav, het and coph, tet and tov, coph and kof, and someh, shin, and tov. There is an introduction, followed by a general statement as to the order of the monograph, and then the text.
