Description		    Homiletics by R. Moses b. Michael of Dessau. Talmudist of the eighteenth century; called "Dessau" after the town in which he lived. He is the author of (1) novellae published in 1724—haggadic annotations to the Talmudic tractates Berakot, Shabbat, and Ḳiddushin, and halakic novellæ to Pesaḥim and Ketubot; and (2) "Zikron Mosheh" (Memorial of Moses), published in 1765—novellae on various haggadic and halakic subjects. He also edited and annotated "Sha'are Dura" (Gates of Dueren), by Isaac b. Meïr of Dueren.
