Certificate of general admission to teach issued by the Provinciale Commissie van Onderwijs in northern Holland, issued April 6, 1853. The certificate - Akte van Algemeene Toelating tot Schoolonderwijzer - is a standard preprinted form filled in and witnessed granting M. Miller, who has been examined and granted the right to teach at the second rank. The certificate is signed by A. J. Berkhowitz, voorzitter (president) and by the secretary.
