Detailed
Description		    Discourses on the weekly Torah readings by R. David ben Behor Kassin. Included, as they occur during the year, are discourses on the festivals. Appended to this volume, which is on Bereshit and Shemot, is Likutei Avraham, by the author’s brother, R. Abraham Kassin. The verso of the title page has a depiction of the western Wall, followed by approbation from R. Jacob Saul Eliyashar and introductions from the author’s brother, R.Saul Kassin and R. Matthias Sulimanoff. The text is in a single column in square letters.

R. David ben Behor Kassin belonged to the distinguished Syrian Kassin family. He was a scholar, dayyan, and a popular speaker in Aram Soba. His public lectures delivered daily in the evening, attracted hundreds. Those inspiration discourses were published in Vayee’esof David. Other novellae remain in manuscript. After a long productive life he left over daughters but no sons.
