Only edition of these collected discourses and insights into the weekly Torah portions and other subjects by R. R. Joshua be R. Ezriel Zelig Krelenstein known as Joshua Levin. Ma’yenei ha-Yeshu’ah was edited by his brother R. Don Zevi Krelenstein. The title page describes it as a desirable collection from various sources (here and there) all beloved and clear on many parshiot arranged in an orderly manner. It notes R. Levin’s other works, that is, Ha-Oz be-Yad (Bilgorai, 1913), a commentary on aggadah in tractate Berakhot and Ateret Yeshu‘ah (192?) on the aggadah in tractate Shabbat. On the verso of the title page are prefatory remarks from the author who informs that it was originally written as an appendix to Ateret Yeshu‘ah. Below is an illustration of Kever Rachel. The text follows in two column in rabbinic type, beginning with parashat ve-Yerah. The text concludes with likkutim and a depiction of the western wall and, on the last page, a map of the dwelling places in Erez Israel.
