R. Shem Tov b. Isaac Raphael Hezekiah Gagin (Gaguine; b.1885), a descendant of a famous Moroccan family of rabbinical scholars, was Chief Judge of the London Portuguese Community prior to becoming Secretary of the Chief Rabbinate in Cairo.
