Description
Eulogy for R. Solomon Kevatsch by R. Wolf Langfelder. The title page describes av bet din in Pisling for three years. He was then called to Leipsic to be Av bet din and Rosh Mesivta, spreading Torah there for fifteen years and instructing many students. R. Kevatsch subsequently returned to his to his birthplace where he also served as Av bet din, where after fifteen months, he passed away on Thursday, parashat Mishpatim, 24 Shevat 656 (January 31, 1856). This eulogy was delivered by his son-in-law, R. Wolf Langfelder. R. Langfelder has added a preface to the eulogy, which is set in a single column in rabbinic type.
