The Hebrew title is given on the verso of the title page. It is MiTaame Yitshak. The subtitle indicates that is includes explanations and commentaries on various topics from Tanakh and copied into sermons. The author is described as a teacher of religion and Holy Scriptures and the holy language. The text includes extended passages in Hebrew which are explicated in German.
I. Baum is also the author of Moses, sein Leben, Streben und Wirken, und dessen culturhistorische Bedeutung :
eine geschichtlich-philosophische Umschau auf dem Gesammtgebiete der Religionen der Menschheit. Bd. I /
