Description |

Vintage brass Hanukkah oil lamp menorah, Israel, 1950's. The backplate is beautifully executed as a sail boat, decorated with a lion and the word Zion on the sail. The top of the mast depicts a flag in the wind with the Star of David embossed. Fronted by a stylized base, inscribed in Hebrew "Amunot mi-Israel" (Crafts from Israel) and set with the eight oil fonts. The front legs depict faces of animals. |
