Description		    The sixth edition of this sermon by Oswald John Simon, which was preached on the 14th of October, 1880. Oswald John Simon (1855-1932) was a Jewish writer and member of a prominent family. He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford. Simon was a member of the Russo-Jewish Committee and author of "World and Cloister" and "Faith and Experience". He was also known as a community worker and was one of the founders of the Maccabæans.
