Description		    Poetry by David Ber b. Aaron Jeruhem Fishel Tierkel (1874-1948). Tierkel was born in Borowka, Poland, received a traditional educations, and studied hasidut. He later studied secular subjects and became a teacher at age 16. He arrived in Philadelphia in 1893, graduated Temple U. in 1899.
