Detailed Description |
|
R. Moses Joseph Buchbinder (c. 1883-1923) was born and educated in Lomza. He immigrated to the United States in 1919 and was appointed rabbi of Bnai Isaac Nussah Ari in the East New York section of Brooklyn. On Sabbath he suddenly passed away while delivering the weekly homily at the age of 40. An erudite scholar and orator he wrote Divrei Neviim (Lomza 1912) homilies and elucidations to the weekly haphtorah. |
