Typed manuscript of a two part manuscript on the principles improving the body and soul by R. Isaac Izik Danziger. The printed title page has a written presentation paragraph at the top and the author’s autograph signature at the bottom. R. Danziger was, on his father’s side, a grandson of R. Levi Isaac of Berdichev (c. 1740-1810) and on his mother’s side of the Hayyei Adam (R. Abraham ben Jehiel Michal Danziger (1740-1820) and from the Admor of Alexander. The text, which is in Yiddish is made up of Hilkhot De’ot fun Rambam and Tikkun ha-Nefesh from a manuscript of the Ari (R. Isaac Luria, 16th-17th cent.) in the Munich Bibliothek. The text is in a single column in Yiddish in square Hebrew letters. It is accompanied, at both the beginning and end, with several loose pages.
