Description		    This is the eighth edition of a basic history of Judaism starting with the creation of the world through the giving of the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai. The final section of the book reviews some basics of the Jewish faith.

R. Dr. Nathan Grun (1840-1913) is also the author of Die Hyksos und die Israeliten (Prague, 1868), Lehrbuch der mosaischen Religion und der biblischen Geschichte (Prague, 1889),Beiträge zur Geschichte der Juden in Prag , et al. R. Dr. Grun was also responsible for the Library of the Prague Jewish Religious Community, which opened in 1874.
