Description		    423:328 mm., light age and damp staining, color fading, small hole affecting border and several letters, ink on vellum, neat square block letters, signed and dated.
          
Paragraph 1    Rectangular piece of parchment with a ribbon border supported by two floral bouquets in the lower section. A fruit bowl with floral overflow ribbons support the upper portion. All in black ink.
          
Detailed
Description		    Kettubah for the wedding of Solomon b. Hananal Ashkenazi to Esther Tama b. Moses Hai on Friday 3 Tevet 5510 signed by the two leading rabbis of Modena.

R. Isaac b. Moses Formiggini (d. 1788), Sephardi rabbi of Modena, Leghorn, and subsequently Trieste. This scholar's name appears many many times in the works of the HIDA as authoritative in decision making responsa. No published works of his survive. R. Formiggini likewise appears as the approbator of many works published in Italy.

R. Moses b. Zevi Hersch Lipschitz, Ashkenazi rabbi of Modena. Again no known works survive, however, his name repeatedly appears in decisions and approbations of period works. Among the books are the Maphtihot haZohar (Venice 1744); Pahad Yitzhok Part I (Venice 1750); Hemdat Yamim (Leghorn 1762) and many others.
