Description		    Only edition of these discourses and novellae by R. Abraham ben Raphael Landau (1789-1875) Founder of the Ciechanow-Strikov Hasidic Dynasty. Zekhuta de-Avraham consist of discourses, responsa, and novellae on the Rambam and Talmud. The title page describes it as “Abraham was one man” (Ezekiel 33:24), he is Abraham holy to the Lord. It then describes the author in laudatory terms and informs that the light of his Torah and righteousness shown as the sun at its height in the city of Ciechanow and died on 5 Iyyar 5635 (Monday, May 10, 1875). The text, in two columns inrabbinic type, is comprised of discourses for Shabbat ha-Gadol and Shabbat Teshuvah, selections on the Torah, Mishnahayot, gemarra, the Rambam, and deep perspectives on the Talmud. At the end of the volume is a four page list, in three columns, of the individuals who supported publication of Zekhuta de-Avraham.
