Detailed Description |
|
Beautifully designed poster with the blessings for income and family recited after the close of Sabbath. The poster is headed with the abbreviations of the verse "ben porat Joseph ben porat ali ayin"(Genesis 49:22). This translates to Joseph a fruitful bough; even fruitful by a well. "Ben porat" can also define as "a powerfully fertile son" or "a son of power". In the Bible when several meanings are possible it is often deliberate and all the different meanings are intended. |
