Detailed
Description
Discourses in Hebrew and Yiddish by R. Isaac Weber, maggid of Kolomyi. This work appears to be unrecorded in major bibliographic sources. The title page describes it as a commentary in many verses in the parasha ha-Mann. R. Weber has prefaced it with three discourses, which are “drops from the sea” from the words of our fathers. They are known as according to which merit, which manner, and for which purpose the Israelite nation was chosen, something known even by schoolchildren. Nevertheless, all who hearken to the words of the sages, who said “who is wise. He who learns from every person” (Avot 4:1). He concludes that one who reads in this work will find pleasure. Below is the text in Yiddish. There is a page of errata and then the text, set in a single column in square letters. There are four discourses, each divided into sections, followed by Kella de-Milsa. Next is a title page for the Yiddish portion of the work beginning on page 65 and continuing until the end of Mafteah le-Mafteah shel Parnasah ve-Kalkalah.
