Description		    Three part work, novellae on the Hoshen Mishpat; contracts; and the final section contains segulot and remedies for various ailments. R. David Sabah (d. 1859), Chief Rabbi of Marrakesh. He founded a Yeshiva in Marrakesh where learning continued to the late hours of the night. The Yeshiva was still in existence in the 1940's. He authored many works which have not survived, this volume was assembled by his grandson from manuscripts and published. His work Maskil Le-David (Tunis 1919) contains responsa, novellae and expositions on the Bible and Talmud. The work contains a list of donors (pp. 2-5) which represents all of Moroccan Jewry: Marrakesh, Casablanca, Rabat, and Mogador.
