Printed on both sides of a single sheet of paper, this is a call in Yiddish for restoring some Judaism into the lives of those who survived the Holocaust. It begins by mentioning that it is a year after liberation, and that it is tragic that Jewish communities, kehilot, and yeshivot have been destroyed. It continues by saying that not only the body has been destroyed, but also the soul...and it is necessary to do something for the soul that is left. The call for help with this cause concludes with a call for making a religious home for children in Eretz Israel. |
