The Gesellschaft was founded in 1897 and terminated by the Nazis in 1937. Its objective was the study and publishing of material concerning art and art collection in synagogues and Jewish homes.This association published a newsletter called Notizblatt der Gesellschaft zur Erforschung jüdischer Kunstdenkmäler:. 1902-1933, and it also had a publication called Mitteilungen der Gesellschaft zur Erforschung jüdischer Kunstdenkmäler zu Frankfurt am Main. |
