The text of an address by R. Dr. Hillel Sondheimer (1840-1899) rabbi of Heidelberg 1872-1889 on the observance of the second day of a festival. He was educated in Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, Würzburg, Berlin and from 1863 served as rabbi in Gailingen. R. Dr. Sondheimer is also the author of Das erste Buch Moses’ für den Schulgebrauch and Geschichtlicher Religionsunterricht, which appeared in many editions. |
