Paragraph 1    A letter written on stationery of the U.S. War Bond and Stamp Campaign of the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of United States & Canada and signed by R. Reuven Levovitz, Secretary and Hirsch Manischewitz, Treasurer.

A decision was made that all members should continue to purchase War bonds because their purpose is to "raise up our government against the rule of evil." Hirsch Manischewitz has been appointed special treasurer for this effort. Members are asked to provide 1) the total that they and the members of their households will buy during the following 12 months 2) How do they wish payments to be made , etc.
