Description		    The draft of a letter seeking funds for Bet Le-pelitot, an institution which houses and educated young Jewish girls who have been orphaned and/or abandoned. The letter, which includes corrections in pen, lists 18 distinguished Rabbis as signatories. The letter is looking for funds to build a new building to house an additional 250 girls at this institution and speaks of how the girls are taught a trade or work as nursery school teachers, and teachers within the institution until they are married off to appropriate young b'nai Torah.

Among the signatories is R. Akiva Sofer, R. Zalman Sorotzkin, et al.
