Detailed
Description
Laws For The Day Preceding Passover that coincides with the Sabbath. Many rules for the normal observance of the Sabbath are altered to comply with the applicable Passover rules. For instance, rabbis have differed on whether to use Matzoh Ashira instead of challah. The traditional rabbinate has prohibited this practice while modern Orthodox have approved. Should the chulent contain beens; if yes how do we dispose of the pot. Over the years many booklets have been written with varying opinions. This is the first in the long series.

These laws were reviewed by R. Moses Feinstein, dean of Mesivta Tifereth Jerusalem and leader of orthodox Jewry during the second half of the 20th century. The event was the first of its kind in post-Holocaust America (the previous one being in 1930).
