Detailed
Description
The yeshiva for kabbalist "Bet El" was founded in 1637 by R. Gedaliah Hayyun as an institution to study and pray the teaching of R. Isaac Luria (Ari z'l). The yeshiva, still operational, was led by many prominent rabbis and kabbalist over the centuries. Its finances were covered by donations collected by the shedar corp. The messengers were always scholars, kabbalist, and highly respectable. The letter was issued to R. Ezra Hiyya b. Shalom Lahmi and is signed by the administrator of the Yeshiva, R. Moses Tito.
