After 16 years without municipal elections in Jerusalem, elections were to be held on November 14, 1950. Some of the issues delineated in the platform include electricity, water, work for all who seek it, education, fast and inexpensive transportation, taxes, etc. It ends encouraging "worker, resident of Jerusalem--vote!" |
