Description		    A poster which contains the facsimile of a handwritten note from R. Dov Berish Weidenfeld, as well the printed version of its contents. In the note, R. Weidenfeld explains that his health does not allow him to attend the assembly, but that it is incumbent on everyone to support the political list Gimel for the Agudah party, "in order to strengthen the honor of the Torah.". R. Dov Berish Weidenfeld was the Chief Rabbi of Tchebein (Trzebinia), Poland, and after World War II spent his final years in Jerusalem, where he led the Tchebein Yeshiva. His principal work of Jewish law is titled "Dovev Meisharim.
