A work of fiction, consisting of three short stories, for juvenile audiences by Ber Orshanski. The cover has an illustration of two Russian soldiers talking to a young boy, with what looks like his parents peeking out from a doorway in the background. Traditional Yiddish, name of artist unknown. Ber Orshanski is also the author of In dem bloen kestele (Minsk, 1927),A tsung(Moscow, 1933) and Epizodn (Moscow, 1940). |
